Be Happy!!!

Over at Penny's this week we have a wonderful new sponsor Sparkle and Sprinkle and we have that favourite theme again - Anything Goes!

I got to play with a cute digi - I just couldn't stop smiling when I made this!

Who couldn't smile at this! I coloured it with my usual alcohol markers, cut it out with a circle die cutter, cut a scalloped circle from some black glitter card then cut the silver doilie using a Cheery Lynn die. I finished it off with some marcasite letters and some black gems.

So for some fun digis why not pop over to Sprinkle and Sparkle and check out some great images!
Then enter your creations at Penny's Paper Crafty we'd love to see what you make!

Bling it On!

We have a new challenge at the Outlawz Colour Challenge and it was chosen by Ina - just look at these gorgeous colours
Aren't these just the yummiest, hot, hot colours! Ina has added the perfect twist - she wants you to add bling!!

For my card I experimented with digital colouring and this is what I came up with

I used a shaped die to cut the easel card from some orange pearl card, the beautiful butterfly silhouette is from Bugaboo, our sponsor this month and I coloured it using a paint programme on the computer, I have never done this before and I was really pleased with the result! The sentiment is from LOTV and was heat embossed with some cerise embossing  powder onto some turquoise card, then I added some bling!!!

So come on over and join us for this gorgeous challenge and you stand the chance of winning some digis from Bugaboo too!

I hope we see you over at Penny's this week we love to see what you make!

A Travellers Tale...

The latest challenge at Eclectic Ellapu has started and we have two new themes for you this week;
the first theme chosen by Valou for the Pink Team is Anything to do with Travel
our second theme chosen by Elaine for the Purple Team is Anything Goes!
Now this week I have a foot in both camps!

My first card with a travel theme has used some elements from the Travel set by DeeDee Designs, she has some cute sets that are great for making a story!

I used a base of Kraft and added some of my paper from Costco which has ancient maps on, a Kraft tage for the greeting and the elements from the Dee Dee Design set to finish off.

For my Anything Goes card

I have used a gorgeous digi from Aurora Wings that really shows the love of this mother for her children and would be a fabulous image for a card for a Mother! I have used some vintage papers and some fabulous ribbon that I found in the Range.

So come on over to Eclectic Ellapu this time and join us in this fun challenge.

Eclectic Ellapu will be going to a monthly challenge from August please check the blog for details!

The Gift!

On the Kit & Klowder FB group they currently have a colouring competition using my favourite digi artist's beautiful work so even though my colouring isn't a patch on some of the members there it was a no brainer for me to join in!

The beautiful digi is from Aurora Wings, I adore Mitzi's work she produces the most fantastic mythical images, I have so many of them but I still keep having to get that 'one more'!!

This is called 'The Gift'

I coloured it using Promarkers and Copics and tried to colour to bring out the fact that they are mermaid and merman! She is just so adorable she had to be pink!

I then made it up into a card that I will use for my nearly nieces 17th  birthday this week (she adopted me when she was about twelve and always introduces me to anyone as her aunt!)

So that's my effort for this wonderful colouring group, if you love colouring or want to learn join the FB group!

Thanks for stopping by!

A New Home!

We have a new challenge over at Penny's and it's Anything Goes again!

Our sponsors this week are Sparkle and Sprinkle and QKR. I got to play with a QKR image

Isn't that a great image for a New Home card? I coloured it with Promarkers and matted it onto some blue card, the background paper is from the Lillibet collection and all of the pack are so sweet, I just loved the little hearts! I used a lemon pearl card as my base and matted the background onto some more blue. The sentiment is made using some blue peel offs and I cut some of the lemon card using a Spellbinders edging die.
I hope you can join us over at Penny's Paper Crafty this week!

Honey, Honey!

Today's new colour challenge over at the Outlawz has a really neat twist - make your own background!
The lovely Penny chose the colours and they are gorgeous plus that great twist!
I really had to put my thinking cap on for this one!!

So after a lot of trial and error (more error that trial, lol!) this is what I came up with

For my background I cut out lots of hexagons in the three colours them embossed one colour with flowers, one with little birdhouses and the other with swiss dots, then I assembled them on the card, I used the cute little bee brat from our lovely sponsor Bugaboo and used a printed sentiment that I glittered to go with her wings!

I hope you will come over and join us this week, I look forward to seeing you there!

Christmas In July with Aurora Wings!

Another Christmas card, gosh I've been busy today!

This one is a delightful digi from Aurora Wings - if you join their FB group this is one of the free files you can download

Coloured with Promarkers and Copics, I found the background paper in my stash I have had it forever! The holly and ivy leaves were bought from Lakeland when they did crafts, another item I've had forever! I frosted them with some fine iridescent glitter. I have a passion for ginger kitties I always think they look so cute!

Thanks for stopping by and if you want to have this digi join the Aurora Wings FB group there's always lots going on and you get to see lots of Mitzi's beautiful artwork!

Li'l Bug!

We have everyone's favourite challenge at Penny's this week - Anything Goes!

Our fabulous sponsor this week is, drum roll, Lacy Sunshine
So I got to play with one gorgeous stamp from Heather's wonderful shop

I coloured the image with alcohol markers then cut it out with a flower shaped die. The papers are from the Lillibet collection - aren't they just perfect with this cutie? I cut the butterflies from some matching glitter card as well as the centre flower, the other flowers are made using the smaller version of the die used to cut out the image, I used the shaping technique that I learn from Jak Heath's blog quite some time ago!

I hope you will come over to Penny's Paper Crafty and join in our latest challenge!

Hope to see you there!

This week Lindsay chose the red of the tomatoes now we need you to pick two more colours from the photo and add your own twist!

We have Bugaboo as our sponsor this month and this is one of their fabulous digis

I do think that's wonderful advise! I actually coloured the image on the computer - never tried before and it came out pretty good!

I got to play with a beautiful digi

This is part of the Lily Collection, isn't it beautiful? I coloured it with Promarkers and layered it up with some lovely summer colours, the die cut was a freebie on a magazine, so useful! the other little corners are from a D'Lites set.

Elephants for Luck!

We have a new challenge at Dragonfly Dreams, this time we would like to see something from your birth month, colour, jewels, something that says to you its your birth month!

Well I am a Virgo, so firstly everything has to be perfect, lol! Then I think I catch some Leo as I love hot colours, I like bright summer colours they cheer me up!

Our sponsor this month is the fabulous Bugaboo and they have such a variety of images, everyone always thinks of the great humorous digis and I have to say I do love them too but they also have some other images that are so different, I chose to work with this one

I flipped one elephant so they became a pair, they so remind me of the sixties! I have a friend that was in need of some cheering up and a lot of luck so I made this for her. I read somewhere that elephants are supposed to be lucky so I sent her two hoping to double her luck! I chose the hot pink becasuse I love hot pink it is definitely something that comes from my birth month! I also love bling, not for me but on everything else!!
So remember if you want something different go check out Bugaboo and then come and join us in this fun challenge!

House Moving........

Isn't that just one of the worst tasks ever! I have moved house more times than I care to remember and got quite good at it but it was always so stressful.

Gerda Steiner has just moved and she produced this fabulous digi for her progressive challenge

Now isn't that the cutest digi! Any cat person will know this to be so true, any box and the cat's there!

I made this card for a girl in the office who has just found a flat, she has a little girl and boy which is why I made it in pink and blue, then there's no fights!

Why not pop over to Gerda's and subscribe to her newsletter and join in with the progressive challenge its such fun!
